- In this graph , y = f( x ) 

Value of function F ( C ) is called Maxima Of Graph & Maximum value of function & Pont C is called Point of Maxima Of Given function.

- Minima ,

( Minima )

-  In this graph , y = f( x ) 

Value of function F ( C ) is called Minima Of Graph & Minima value of function & Pont C is called Point of Minima Of Given function.

- Local Maxima & Local Minima Of Function 

- In this Graph , y = F ( X ) 

( Concept Of Maxima & Minima )

- In interval { C1-h , C1 + h } 

F ( C1 ) Local Maxima
C 1 = Local Point of Maxima 

- Same As for Point C3

- In Interval { C2 - h , C2 + h

F ( C2 ) Local Minima
C 2 = Local Point of Minima

- Same As for Point C4


- Absolute Maxima & Minima ;-

Absolute Maxima : Greater value of function it's domain

Find the maximum & Minimum value if any , without using the derivatives of the following functions .

( a ) f ( x ) = 4x² - 8x +4 ,
( b ) f ( x ) = -| x - 1 | + 4 
( c ) f ( x ) = Sinx +5 
( d ) f ( x ) = x³
